BUCKY DENT DOG PARK - SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION

The City of Hialeah is seeking a contractor to construct/rehabilitate a sidewalk at Bucky Dent Dog Park. The objective is to install a safe, level walkway with proper drainage, constructed in accordance with applicable municipal codes and industry standards. The scope of work includes site preparation, base and sub-base installation, sidewalk construction, and curing and finishing. The contractor will be required to provide a 1-year warranty against structural cracking resulting from improper installation. • The project includes the installation of a 4" compacted gravel sub-base and 3,000 PSI concrete sidewalk with wire mesh reinforcement. • The contractor will be responsible for removing grass, roots, and debris from the work area and compacting the soil to minimize the risk of future settlement. • The contractor will also be required to apply a broom finish to provide a non-slip surface and cut control and expansion joints every 6 feet. • The project excludes repairs to any hidden underground utilities, work outside the defined project boundaries, relocation of sprinklers, wiring, or similar systems, and municipal permits.
