Haller Lake Facility (HLF) Electrical Upgrade

The City of Seattle is seeking a consultant team to provide design and construction administration services for the Haller Lake Facility Electrical Upgrade project. The project involves upgrading the existing electrical service to meet future electric vehicle charging and building decarbonization needs. The consultant team will be responsible for designing the upgraded electrical service, securing permits, and providing construction administration services. The project is expected to last approximately 35 weeks. Key qualifications for the consultant team include experience with electrical upgrades at existing facilities, a detailed team organizational chart, and a demonstration of quality and relevant work. • The consultant team must have experience providing design services for electrical upgrades at existing facilities in the past ten years. • The team must have a detailed organizational chart that identifies key team members, their relevant experience, primary roles, and responsibilities on this project. • The team must demonstrate its ability to adequately staff the project through all phases, including construction, and to meet challenging schedule requirements. • The team must provide a communications plan that describes how they will respond to planned, unplanned, and emergent situations. • The team must have experience designing electrical infrastructure upgrades at existing facilities. • The team must have experience obtaining permits from the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspection or other comparable design review bodies.
