Installation of Electrical Base Feeds & Power Whips

The United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) is seeking a contractor to install electrical base feeds and power whips at their headquarters in North Chicago, IL. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the installation. The work includes installing 32 new 120V electrical base feeds and 6 power whips, as well as routing conduit and cabling from the building's electrical panel to each base feed and power whip location. The contractor must ensure that all electrical work complies with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and local codes. Some key tasks and deliverables include: • Providing and installing 32 base feeds to supply power to workstation clusters. • Providing and installing 6 modular power whips to connect workstation circuits to building power sources. • Routing conduit and cabling from the building’s electrical panel to each base feed and power whip location. • Ensuring all electrical work complies with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and local codes. • Testing, labeling, and providing as-built documentation for all installed base feeds and power whips.
