Submersible Pump - Steeplechase Pump Station

The City of Columbia is seeking a proposal for the purchase of one submersible pump for the Steeplechase Pump Station. The pump must meet certain specifications, including having 36 Hp, 3 phase with 460-volt motor, leak detection, 30 feet of power cord, Over-Temperature Protection, and compatibility with the existing pump station guide rail/pump mounting system. The proposal should include pricing, company information, experience, and personnel expertise. The contract period will be as stated in the agreement/contract or notice of award. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to negotiate with any offeror considered qualified. • The proposal should include a written plan for performing the requirements specified in the RFP. • The offeror should provide estimated lead times and descriptive literature/documentation on each submersible pump proposed. • The offeror should provide warranty information, if applicable. • The City will evaluate the proposals based on cost, offeror's experience, reliability, expertise of personnel, and method of performance. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best proposal(s).
