Request for Information Regarding Diesel Efficient Fuels

The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AAATA) is seeking information from qualified suppliers regarding the purchase and delivery of diesel efficient fuels to support the health and maintenance of their fleet. The authority is exploring fuel options for potential integration into their current operations and fleet management systems. The RFI seeks information on the availability of Mobil Diesel Efficient Fuel or equivalent products, technical specifications, pricing, and delivery options. Respondents are asked to provide information on their company, technical capabilities, and supply and logistics. The authority reserves the right to use none, some, or all of the information and/or results of this RFI in an RFP or IFB if it is in the Authority’s best interest. • The authority operates a fleet of heavy-duty vehicles, including buses and construction equipment. • The authority is seeking a fuel supplier that can provide diesel efficient fuels with a minimum delivery quantity of 5,000 gallons and a maximum delivery quantity of 48,000 gallons. • The authority prefers a truck delivery method and is seeking a supplier that can provide technical support services, 24/7 emergency response capabilities, and backup supply services. • The authority is seeking information on the pricing structure and methodology, including the preferred method of ordering and pricing for as-needed emergency tanker delivery.
