The National Weather Service, Ocean Prediction Center, and U.S. National Ice Center (USNIC) are seeking market input on the capability to provide near‑real‑time (≤4 hours) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) GeoTIFF imagery covering the globe, with a focus on polar ice monitoring. Respondents must detail operational control of SAR constellations, tasking and cancellation procedures, polar performance (C‑band dual‑polarization or comparable), latency and delivery pipelines, pricing models for delivering ~60 million sq km of wide‑swath imagery annually, and licensing/data‑rights considerations.
