Sheffield Coordinate Measuring Machine

The Anniston Army Depot is seeking information from potential contractors to provide labor, materials, tools, and expertise for the preventive maintenance, calibration, and emergency repairs of two Sheffield Coordinate Measuring Machines, models RS30 and RS70. The machines are located at the Anniston Army Depot in Alabama. The contractor will be required to perform various tasks, including verifying and adjusting the linear accuracy, squareness, and volumetric accuracy of the machines, as well as inspecting and cleaning various components. The contractor must also provide a warranty for all repairs and replacements. • The contractor must have hands-on experience in operating, servicing, calibrating, and maintaining the Sheffield Coordinate Measuring Machines. • The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, and expertise to perform the required services. • The contractor must warranty all repairs for parts and workmanship for a period of 90 days. • The contractor must provide a calibration sticker and certificate of calibration after completing the calibration services. • The contractor must make specific recommendations in writing for any parts that need replacing or any actions needed to increase the machine's productivity or maintain its accuracy.
