Description
The City of Philadelphia Department of Aviation is seeking qualified contractors to replace passenger boarding bridges (PBBs) at Philadelphia International Airport (Phase 4). The scope includes demolition of existing bridges at multiple gates, supply and installation of new bridges, associated structural work, VDGS upgrades, power‑by‑the‑foot and ground‑power unit equipment, interior door‑interface panels, and related training and spare‑parts support. The contract is valued at greater than $5 million, with additional allowances of $575 k for corrective work, spare parts, training, and door‑programming. The bid is invitation‑only, requires a 10 % bid bond, a $600 processing fee, and compliance with city prevailing‑wage schedules, FAA and security requirements.
