Interstate State Park Lower River Landing Stairs

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources seeks a contractor to replace and upgrade the Lower River Landing stairs at Interstate State Park. The scope includes temporary traffic control, removal of existing concrete stairs, construction of new concrete foundation walls and stairs, installation of a powder‑coated galvanized steel handrail, trench drainage, base aggregate, and asphalt paving, as well as site restoration and erosion control. The project is targeted for veteran‑owned firms and must be completed under a single prime contract. • Install temporary traffic, tree, and sediment control measures. • Demolish and remove existing concrete stairs and construct new concrete stairs with foundation walls and CLSM sub‑base. • Provide and install powder‑coated galvanized steel handrail, mooring fabrications, and trench drain. • Perform paving, grading, seeding, and erosion control to restore the site.
