Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to repair or replace the main distribution and branch panel boards in Building 6002 at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the work. The project involves a design-bid-build approach, and the contractor will be required to perform a site investigation to verify existing conditions. The contractor must also identify the necessary logistical, architectural, and structural work elements required to perform the work.
Some key aspects of the project include:
• The contractor must provide a bid bond in the amount of 100% of the proposal.
• The contractor must provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the proposal.
• The contractor is responsible for all testing, including electrical acceptance testing, infrared testing, and third-party inspections.
• The contractor must follow the guidelines outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) for planned outages and notify the users of B6002 Auto Hobby Shop and Thrift Store of planned outages.
