Description
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the provision of two center console boats and two trailers. The boats will be used for survey and assessment of nesting sites, migratory bird sites, and other activities related to the conservation of coastal birds. The contract period is estimated to be from January 18, 2026, to March 31, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the boats and trailers to The Boat Shed, Attn: Dept of Natural Resources, 211 Church SC, Georgetown, SC 29440.
• The boats must be 17-foot models that can be operated at all tide heights and in all weather conditions.
• The boats will be used to transport equipment such as posts and signs for managing bird nesting areas and equipment such as large nets and metal canons for trapping birds.
• The contractor must provide the manufacturer's written warranty upon delivery of the products.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable provisions of The Drug-free Workplace Act.
• The contractor must not include any sales or use taxes in the price.
• The contractor must provide a signed copy of the form with the offer, agreeing to be bound by the terms of the solicitation.
