Description
The US Air Force is seeking a self-contained mobile and secure data destruction system capable of completely sanitizing and physically destroying both magnetic and solid-state hard drives in accordance with National Security Agency (NSA) standards for handling Top Secret data. The system must provide a complete, verifiable audit trail of the erasure and destruction process for accountability and reporting purposes. Key features of the system include a TS-1XT Degausser and an IRONCLAD Erasure and Destruction Verification System. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose quote meets the best interest of the Government, with evaluation factors including price reasonableness, technical factor, and best value determination.
• The system must be capable of destroying both magnetic and solid-state hard drives
• The system must provide a complete, verifiable audit trail of the erasure and destruction process
• The system must meet the salient characteristics described in the Statement of Need
• The offeror must provide a technical approach detailing the product's technical data and the specific procedures for how the equipment will be installed
• The offeror must provide at least one recent and relevant past performance reference for the same or similar services required by this solicitation
