The State of California’s Department of General Services is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance, repair, and parts replacement services for a suite of heavy‑equipment devices located at the Document Destruction Center in West Sacramento. The work includes routine monthly, semi‑annual, and annual maintenance, rapid response repair (foreseeable and unforeseeable) with a 2‑hour notification and 4‑hour on‑site requirement, provision of OEM‑equivalent parts, detailed reporting, and a one‑year warranty on all services. The contract is a three‑year, fixed‑price agreement with prevailing‑wage requirements and mandates the use of OEM‑authorized technicians possessing at least five years of experience. The contractor must hold a Class C‑10 electrical contractor license (and Class C‑36 welding license when needed), maintain specified insurance limits, and meet DVBE and small‑business participation thresholds.
