The Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) is seeking a robust, user-friendly Online Event Calendar System that integrates seamlessly into existing website templates. The system should enhance the discovery of library programs and flexibly meet a range of individual library preferences. The selected vendor will provide a hosted (SaaS) or integrated solution that allows staff of different library systems to manage, promote, and track attendance for events across their branches. Key requirements include distinct tenants with multiple locations, a mobile-responsive calendar, registration management, staff dashboard, branding and integration, and room booking.
• The system must support separate tenants for each library and user accounts with tiered privileges within each tenant.
• The public interface must be mobile-responsive with list, grid, and monthly views, and include robust filtering.
• The system must have registration management capabilities, including handling waitlists, sending automated email/SMS reminders, and capping attendance numbers.
• The staff dashboard must be intuitive and allow staff to create recurring events, manage registrations, and run attendance reports.
• The system must have branding and integration capabilities, including RSS feed for events and custom CSS to match a library's current website.
• The system must have room booking capabilities, including integrated module for patrons to reserve study rooms or community spaces based on library policies.
