Description
The United States Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a National Small Business Multiple‑Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for dredging services across U.S. waterways. The contract will be a 5‑year, nationwide “order‑on‑demand” agreement that allows the government to issue task orders for regular, emergency, and project‑specific dredging work. Offerors must own (not lease) at least one cutter‑suction dredge (≥10‑inch discharge) or one mechanical dredge (≥5‑cubic‑yard bucket) and provide recent past‑performance examples, EM 385‑1‑1 compliance documentation, and possibly a surety bonding‑capacity letter. The solicitation is preceded by a virtual industry‑day meeting where interested parties can learn more and ask questions.
• Scope: Mobilize dredge plant and support vessels, perform mechanical/hydraulic dredging, place material (beach nourishment, open‑water, CDF, DMDF, etc.), provide environmental support, and demobilize.
• Equipment requirement: Own cutter‑suction dredge ≥10‑in discharge **or** mechanical dredge ≥5‑cubic‑yard bucket; leased equipment not acceptable.
• Past‑performance: Three relevant projects within the last six years, depth 6‑50 ft, with documentation.
• Timeline: Q&A due 04 Jan 2027, RSVP for industry day by 11 Jan 2027, virtual industry day 12 Jan 2027, bid response due 12 Jan 2027 16:00 ET.
