Construction and Inspection Services for the Davidson Ave Storm Drain Improvement Project

The City of Lemon Grove is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional construction management and inspection services for the Davidson Avenue storm‑drain improvement. The consultant will oversee demolition of existing corrugated metal pipe, replacement with HDPE pipe, and all related site work, while ensuring compliance with local, regional, and safety standards. The engagement is a not‑to‑exceed professional services agreement with a 40‑working‑day construction window and a 60‑day close‑out period. • Manage project coordination, data sharing, and QA/QC; issue monthly invoices and progress reports. • Conduct weekly coordination meetings with the contractor, process RFIs, review submittals, and approve progress payments. • Perform periodic inspections per the Green Book and San Diego Regional Standards, including geotechnical and materials testing, daily progress reporting, and final close‑out documentation.
