The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires the procurement of ophthalmic equipment, including a phoropter digital refraction system, digital chart/acuity system, auto kerato-refractometer, and auto lensometer. The equipment must be new, not refurbished, and meet all applicable VA and FDA regulations. The contractor will be responsible for delivery, installation, training, and warranty of the equipment. The VA will evaluate offers based on technical capability and price.
• The phoropter digital refraction system must meet specific requirements, including spherical effects, cylinder power, axis adjustment, and prismatic effects.
• The digital chart/acuity system must meet specific requirements, including display size, max illumination, photopic illumination, and refraction range.
• The auto kerato-refractometer must meet specific requirements, including sphere range, cylinder range, axis range, and measurable area.
• The auto lensometer must meet specific requirements, including measurement range, cylinder mode, and prism mode.
