Description
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is seeking bids for the purchase of a used airplane and the trade or sale of a 1974 Mitsubishi MU2/J Airplane. The bid specifications and plans can be obtained from the Jefferson County website or by calling (409) 835-8593. Bidders must submit their bids in a sealed envelope with the bid number and name marked on the outside. The bid must include an original and one copy, and late bids will be rejected as non-responsive.
• The bid must be submitted on the bid form furnished in the package.
• The bid must be executed personally by the vendor or an authorized representative.
• The bid must include all required documentation, including a bid bond/surety and affidavit of insurance, if required.
• The bid must comply with all federal, state, county, and local laws, including safety, emission, and noise control requirements.
• The vendor must provide evidence that the service will meet or exceed the requirements specified in the bid.
• The vendor must agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jefferson County for any damages that may be assessed against the county.
