Description
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking quotations for the overhaul of diesel engine governors. The contractor will be responsible for opening, inspecting, and reporting on the governors, as well as performing any necessary repairs or overhauls. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced offeror that is deemed technically acceptable. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and must comply with all applicable federal regulations and clauses. Some key requirements include:
* The contractor must provide a firm fixed price for all necessary equipment and shipping costs.
* The contractor must provide a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Products and Commercial Services.
* The contractor must comply with all applicable federal regulations and clauses, including those related to labor standards, environmental protection, and national security.
* The contractor must provide a detailed test report for each overhauled governor, including the date of the test, the tester's name, and the results of the test.
* The contractor must package and mark each overhauled governor in accordance with the specifications provided.
