Occupational Safety and Health Training Services

The City of Los Angeles, Department of Building and Safety, is seeking a contractor to provide occupational safety and health training services to its employees. The contractor will be required to provide various training courses, including a 10-hour CAL/OSHA construction safety course, an asbestos hazards recognition course, and a job hazard analysis course. The contractor will also be required to develop custom training courses and provide online technical support services. The training services will be provided to approximately 530 employees who work across multiple job sites and are exposed to a variety of occupational hazards. The goal of the training is to provide employees with the knowledge and tools to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the field and ensure their safety. • The contractor will be required to provide instructor-led, interactive virtual training courses and instructor-led, in-person training courses. • The contractor will be required to collaborate with the City to develop custom training courses that align with employee job classifications. • The contractor will be required to provide online technical support services to assist users with access, functionality, and troubleshooting issues related to the training platform. • The contractor will be required to provide regular reporting of employee course progression and completion. • The contractor will be required to provide training services and include without limitation, software applications, valuation models, information resources, images, hard copy materials, and any applicable user manuals, as applicable.
