The State of Oregon’s Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on‑site, instructor‑led classroom training in adult First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use. Training must be delivered at nine DEQ locations throughout Oregon, with class sizes ranging from a minimum of three to a maximum of twelve participants (a tier for 9‑18 participants is also noted). All instructors must hold a current American Heart Association (AHA) instructor certification, and the contractor must supply all required training materials, equipment, and certificates. Additional responsibilities include providing monthly attendance rosters, adhering to strict cancellation‑notice requirements, and absorbing any travel costs (non‑reimbursable). The contract is initially for a two‑year term, with a possible extension up to a total of five years.
• Deliver AHA‑compliant “Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED” classroom courses at nine DEQ sites.
• Provide all training supplies (workbooks, Laerdal Pocket Masks, CPR mannequins, certificates, audiovisual equipment).
• Submit monthly attendance reports and follow detailed cancellation‑notice procedures; travel costs are the contractor’s responsibility.
