Description
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks qualified instructors and trainer‑providers to deliver Certified Pool Operator (CPO), Practical Pool Management PLUS (PPM+), and Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) training courses, along with all required instructional materials, to DCR pool managers statewide. Instructors must hold current DPH‑approved certifications and be able to travel to multiple locations across the Commonwealth. The contract will be a multi‑vendor, five‑year rate‑based agreement with no maximum dollar obligation, allowing rolling enrollment through December 2027. Bidders must submit detailed rate sheets, proof of instructor credentials, Prompt‑Payment Discount forms, Environmental Preferred Products documentation, and a Massachusetts W‑9.
• Provide CPO, PPM+, and/or AFO training (including train‑the‑trainer) approved by the MA Department of Public Health.
• Supply all textbooks, workbooks, exams, certificates, and related training media; shipping costs may be reimbursed.
• Offer per‑course or per‑student pricing inclusive of travel, equipment, and materials; include rates for retests and annual rate adjustments.
• Demonstrate ability to serve any or all of the 14 Massachusetts counties and comply with SBPP, EO 515 (environmental), and Prompt‑Payment Discount requirements.
