Replace 2000-amp Breaker Food Service

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Big Spring, Texas, is seeking a contractor to replace an existing inoperable 2000-amp GE Power Break Switch with a new power break switch compatible with the existing switchboard. The contractor must comply with the attached drawings and specifications, NFPA 70, National Electrical Code, manufacturer's specifications, and industry standards. Key requirements include: * The contractor must be a licensed electrician licensed by the State of Texas. * All work must be performed in accordance with the most current industry standards, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and the National Electric Code (NEC). * The contractor is responsible for obtaining all measurements and data requirements to comply with manufacturer's installation recommendations. * The contractor must report any actual or suspected breach of personally identifiable information (PII) within one hour of discovery. * The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, executive orders, rules, and regulations applicable to its performance under this contract.
