COLLEGE PARK STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Lynchburg is seeking bids for the College Park Stormwater Improvements project. The project includes constructing a wet forebay at the main inflow, enlarged principal spillway pipes between the ponds, walkable concrete emergency spillways, and native plants in the pond footprints and in the buffers adjacent to the ponds. The project also includes the removal of existing concrete spillway, pipes, and storm structure. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of the project. • The project requires the contractor to have experience with stormwater improvements and erosion control measures. • The contractor must be able to provide a performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the base bid. • The contractor must be able to complete the project within 240 calendar days. • The contractor must be able to provide all necessary equipment and labor for the completion of the project. • The contractor must be able to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety.
