The City of Chesapeake is seeking a contractor to provide professional installation of pre-selected winter holiday lighting and décor for the City Hall municipal grounds and surrounding areas. The contractor will be responsible for designing, constructing, and delivering a comprehensive holiday lighting and décor experience. The scope of work includes permanent building lighting, seasonal temporary building lighting, and grounds lighting and décor. The contractor must provide all necessary materials, personnel, and equipment to fully execute the project. • The project requires the installation of permanent lighting systems and seasonal temporary lighting. • The contractor must provide a cohesive holiday theme and unified design. • The project includes the installation of wrapped trees, canopy décor, and up-lighting. • The contractor must ensure that all lighting pieces are delivered and installed by November 12th and uninstalled by January 5th each year. • The City reserves the right to request additional services or modifications to the project scope. • The contractor must comply with all applicable electrical and safety codes. • The contractor must provide a warranty for all materials and workmanship. • The City will evaluate proposals based on the contractor's experience, qualifications, and proposed approach. • The City reserves the right to negotiate the contract with the selected contractor.
