Auxiliary Ships Industry Day

The Department of Navy's Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Maritime, in coordination with the Department of Transportation Maritime Administration (MARAD), is hosting an Auxiliary Ships Industry Day to provide an overview of several acquisition programs, including the Bulk Fuel Consolidated Cargo (CONSOL) Tanker, the Next Generation Hospital Ship (T-AH(X)), the Roll-on/Roll-off (RO/RO) Vessel Program, and the Vessel Acquisition Manager (VAM) 2.0. The purpose of this event is to engage with Vessel Construction Managers (VCMs), shipyards, and key suppliers to obtain industry feedback that will support market research and inform ship design and acquisition strategies. The key points of this opportunity include: • The event will be held in-person at a location in the vicinity of the Washington Navy Yard in the District of Columbia. • The event will span two days, Wednesday, 5 August 2026 and Thursday, 6 August 2026. • Registered attendees will have the opportunity to schedule a one-on-one session with PAE Maritime and/or MARAD officials. • The Government anticipates a high degree of interest for this event, and submission of a registration form does not guarantee attendance.
