Description
The Jericho Underhill Park District is seeking bids for the summer mowing and trimming of Mills Riverside Park for a contract of one year. The work includes mowing numerous grass areas, trimming, and other related tasks. The contractor must have relevant experience and qualifications, and must provide proof of insurance. The contract will be awarded by April 15, 2026.
• Mowing frequency shall be as specified in the area description shown on the MRP Mowing Bid Schedule for 2026.
• All mowing shall be done before 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
• No mowing on Saturday or Sunday.
• The contractor shall discuss with the park district board the reduced mowing frequency until the end of the growing season.
• The contractor shall indemnify and pay to the JUPD, the full value of repair or replacement, in the event of loss, damage, or destruction of any JUPD property.
