Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport, NY VA Medical Center, is seeking a firm to provide Switchboard Operation and Emergency Dispatch Services. The contractor will provide all personnel, supervision, and services necessary for the effective operation of all switchboard and dispatch activities at Northport VAMC. The services include answering incoming calls, providing information, dispatching code calls, making overhead announcements, operating audio, radio, and digital paging systems, and maintaining records. The contractor will also provide training, supervision, and management control.
• The contractor will provide coverage for telephone switchboard services 7 days a week, including federal holidays.
• The contractor will use five telephone attendant consoles utilizing Cisco Webex and Cisco Finesse to process incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
• The contractor will provide back-up coverage for unexpected staff absence and ensure adequate staffing coverage at all times.
• The contractor will comply with all safety regulations and take necessary precautions to protect the lives and health of occupants of the building.
