Town of Princeville 2021 CDBG-NR Project Request for Bid Proposals for Demolition and Asbestos Removal

The Town of Princeville is seeking bids for the demolition and asbestos removal of two houses. The project includes the removal of debris, trees, and vegetation, as well as the grading and leveling of the site. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining the necessary permits and providing proof of payment for subcontractors. The project is funded by a federal 2021 CDBG-NR grant. • The contractor must provide a lump-sum proposal that includes all costs of disposal, labor, materials, permits, demolition permits, insurance, etc. • The contractor must obtain a Demolition Notification Permit from the NC Health Hazards Control Unit (HHCU). • The contractor must provide copies of landfill tickets and proof of payment to the landfill. • The contractor must provide copies of invoices and proof of payment for any subcontractors that perform any work at the job site.
