PQ List for Pre-Demolition Asbestos Surveys

The City of Pittsburgh is seeking pre-qualified contractors to conduct pre-demolition asbestos surveys. The initial contract period will commence upon the first executed contract and terminate at midnight on June 30th, 2029. The City requires that all bids be submitted electronically. The contractor will be responsible for conducting asbestos surveys and providing reports to the City. The City has set participation goals for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and requires that all bidders demonstrate good faith efforts to obtain DBE participation. • The contractor must have experience in conducting asbestos surveys and have the necessary equipment and personnel to complete the work. • The contractor must be able to provide a detailed report of the asbestos survey, including the location and quantity of asbestos-containing materials. • The contractor must be able to work with the City to ensure that all asbestos-containing materials are properly removed and disposed of. • The contractor must be able to provide proof of insurance and bonding, as required by the City. • The contractor must be able to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to asbestos removal and disposal.
