PQ List for Land Maintenance

The City of Pittsburgh is seeking qualified lawn service businesses and/or community-based organizations for the Pre-Qualified List for Land Maintenance. The initial contract period will commence upon the first executed contract and terminate at midnight on December 31st, 2027. The selected contractor will be responsible for routine and emergency maintenance of the City's real property portfolio, including removing debris and vegetation, cutting grass, and performing other tasks as needed. The contractor will be compensated at a rate of $25/hour/person and will be limited to a maximum of 5 assigned employees per geographic cluster. • Routine maintenance activities include removal of debris, cutting of grass and vegetation, and removal of clippings from sidewalks and roads. • Emergency maintenance activities will be performed in response to Code violation notices or direct requests for maintenance. • Contractors must provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, and materials to carry out the scope of services. • The City will periodically inspect work to verify that services have been completed in a manner consistent with program standards. • Contractors will be required to submit monthly invoices and parcel checklists, and will be evaluated based on performance metrics such as effectiveness, time to completion, and quality assurance.
