This solicitation seeks a qualified general contractor to design‑build and construct a multi‑disciplinary greenway corridor that links the existing Ted Jones Trail to West Florissant Avenue through Forestwood Park. The work includes new sidewalk and trail construction, a prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge, extensive roadway and parking‑lot reconstruction, utility coordination, storm‑water management, lighting, signage, and comprehensive landscaping and site‑amenities. The contractor must comply with ADA standards, Missouri prevailing‑wage rules, and a host of county, state, and federal regulations.
• New 12 × 50 ft prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge and associated approaches.
• Roadway, curb, gutter, guardrail, and parking‑lot resurfacing using concrete, asphalt, and aggregate base.
• Installation of LED lighting, signal hardware, pull‑boxes, conduit, and related electrical work.
• Full landscape package: tree planting, seed mixes, sod, erosion‑control, benches, bike racks, trash receptacles, and signage.
• Required 5 % bid bond, 100 % performance/payment bonds, prevailing‑wage compliance, and extensive insurance and safety documentation.
