RFQ 690002: Construction of Route 50 and Everfield Drive Roundabout

The County of Loudoun is seeking a qualified General Contractor to design and construct a single‑lane roundabout at the intersection of Route 50 and Everfield Drive. The scope includes full site preparation, earthwork, drainage, storm‑water controls, pedestrian facilities, signage, pavement marking, and a phased traffic‑management plan, all in compliance with Virginia state permits and environmental regulations. • Convert unsignalized intersection to a single‑lane roundabout with realigned and widened approaches. • Perform earthwork, rock excavation, erosion and sediment control, and install upgraded storm‑water infrastructure. • Provide pedestrian pathways, roadway signing, pavement marking, and traffic‑management during construction. • Coordinate all required permits (VSMP/SWPPP, VDOT Land Use, etc.) and ensure compliance with environmental controls. • Deliver complete construction layout, surveying, and maintenance‑of‑traffic services throughout the project.
