Description
The City of Florence, SC is seeking a qualified contractor to extend its water distribution system along Stadium Road and Frontage Road, installing approximately 2,150 linear feet of 6‑inch water line plus additional smaller‑diameter service connections. The contractor must be a licensed water‑line (WL) contractor, provide required bonds and insurance, and complete the work within a 90‑day window after award. The 6‑inch PVC pipe is pre‑stocked at the city’s wastewater treatment plant and must be picked up by the contractor. No electronic bidding; sealed paper bids only.
• Scope: Install ~800 LF of 6‑inch pipe on Frontage Road and ~1,350 LF on Stadium Road, plus four 2‑inch and one 1‑inch service lines (≈1,410 LF total).
