Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Admin Services

The City of Palo Alto is seeking a consultant to provide professional services for the administration of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The consultant will be responsible for tasks such as reporting, environmental review, monitoring, and financial management. The consultant will also be required to provide technical assistance and support to the City staff. • The scope of work includes preparing and submitting program plans and certifications to HUD, developing and implementing eligible CDBG programs and activities, and ensuring compliance with national objectives. • The consultant will be required to provide a detailed work plan, including major tasks and subtasks, and establish a project team with key personnel. • The consultant will also be required to provide monthly invoices and quarterly reports, and attend weekly status meetings with City staff. • The City is looking for a consultant with experience in CDBG program administration, environmental review, and financial management. • The consultant will be required to have a strong understanding of HUD regulations and requirements, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with City staff and the public.
