Description
The City of McRae‑Helena is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide preliminary engineering reports, design, and construction‑administration services for federally funded community‑development projects (CDBG, RDF, GEFA, EIP, EDA, SCRC, USDA, etc.) for FY 2027. The scope includes preparation of a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER), NPDES services where applicable, and full design‑construction management. Firms must demonstrate experience with HUD and other federal programs, submit statements of qualifications, fee structures, and carry appropriate insurance. The contract is expected to be awarded within a year of the notice and may lead to additional task orders over the next 2‑3 years.
• Targeted projects: CDBG, Redevelopment Fund, GEFA, EIP, EDA, SCRC, USDA, and other 2 CFR 200‑compliant federal funds.
• Required deliverables: PER (draft by 03/05/2027 if CDBG pursued), detailed design, construction administration, and related consulting services.
• Submission deadline: 5 Nov 2026; proposals submitted after this may be rejected.
• Evaluation criteria: firm history, federal‑fund engineering experience, key personnel, workload capacity, proposed scope, references, fee structure, and errors‑and‑omissions insurance.
• Anticipated contract length: up to 12 months, with potential extensions or additional contracts.
