Description
The City of Waycross is seeking bids for the construction of the Waycross MLK Quarterman Street Storm Drainage Repair project. The project involves removing approximately 685 feet of existing 60-inch corrugated metal pipe and installing approximately 75 feet of 60-inch reinforced concrete pipe under two roads, as well as creating a 530-foot-long storm ditch through a field. The work also includes filling existing sinkholes, removing and replacing two double-wing catch basins, removing one existing headwall while installing three new headwalls, hauling off approximately 4,850 cubic feet of dirt to create the storm ditch, and other miscellaneous work.
• The project is funded by the City of Waycross
• Bidders must be licensed by the State of Georgia
• A bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid is required
• Performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, shall be required of the successful bidder if the contract is awarded
