Description
The City of Methuen is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of four high-lift vertical turbine pumps at the Water Treatment Plant. The project requires the rehabilitation of the pumps, and the successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent Construction Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond. The bidding and award of this contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M.
• The project is subject to the minimum wage rates as per M.G.L., Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D inclusive.
• The successful bidder must execute the contract agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of the bid.

• The bid deposit will become the property of the City if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract.
