Description
The project involves renovating Building 3 for EHRM Administration and Training at the Columbia VA Healthcare System. The contractor shall provide all necessary tools, equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and personnel to complete the project. The project includes interior lighting, fire alarm systems, and other related work. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• The project requires the contractor to furnish and install new lamps for all lighting fixtures.
• The contractor must ensure that the lighting fixtures are properly grounded and bonded.
• The project includes the installation of fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors, horns, and strobes.
• The contractor must test and inspect the fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• The contractor must provide training to VA personnel on the operation and maintenance of the fire alarm systems.
