Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the renovation of the East Bound Rest Area facility on I-64 Mile Marker 173.5 in Carter County, Kentucky. The project includes extensive interior and exterior renovations, replacement of plumbing fixtures and piping, HVAC system, electrical and data voice wiring and devices, and various exterior site improvements. The successful bidder will be required to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided.
Key features of the project include:
• Replacement of all plumbing fixtures and piping
• Replacement of the HVAC system, including duct work
• Replacement of electrical and data voice wiring and devices
• Exterior site improvements
• New M.M.A. coating system at the Restroom Building
• New ceramic tile at the Restroom Building
• New FRP doors and frames at the Restroom Building
