Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for snow removal services at the VA Boston Healthcare System, Jamaica Plain campus. The contractor will provide snow plowing, snow hauling, and surface treatment services for roadways, parking lots, walkways, and other areas. The contract will include a base year and four option years. The contractor must provide daily documentation of work performed, including quantities of salt and ice melt used, and must maintain a snow dump area. The contractor must also comply with various safety and security regulations, including those related to fire safety and means of egress.
• Provide snow plowing, snow hauling, and surface treatment services for roadways, parking lots, walkways, and other areas.
• Maintain a snow dump area and remove stockpiled snow from the site.
• Provide daily documentation of work performed, including quantities of salt and ice melt used.
• Comply with safety and security regulations, including those related to fire safety and means of egress.
• Exercise care and courtesy to minimize impact on medical center operations.
