Description
The DLA Maritime - Pearl Harbor is seeking a quotation for the supply of Aluminum Oxide, size #24, for use in abrasive blasting. The material must meet the specifications outlined in the CID A-A-59316. The supplier must provide a certificate of conformance with the shipment. The delivery location is the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard IMF. The quotation must include the price for 20 bags of the material, with each bag weighing 2000 lbs.
• The material must be shipped in bulk commodity shipping bags with a 5:1 Safety Factor rating.
• The bags must be equipped with a sling with 4 or more pickup points and 4 or more lift straps.
• The material must have a burst test of not less than 450 lbs per inch.
• The supplier must provide a certificate of conformance with the shipment.
