Description
The University of Texas at Tyler is soliciting proposals for supervision, materials, equipment, and labor for renovations and improvements to the Longview University Center. The project includes all related work as described in the construction documents issued as part of this RFP. The scope of work may include selective demolition, site survey layout, concrete, asphalt, earthwork, striping, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, building automation controls, AV technology, network cabling, flooring, drywall repair and finishing, paint, sealants, lab casework, millwork, glazing, doors and hardware, general construction, landscaping, restroom partitions, medical equipment, cleaning services, fire alarm, and fire suppression.
• The project is expected to start on May 4, 2026, and be completed by August 21, 2026.
• The proposal should include the respondent's ability to provide construction services, qualifications of the construction team, past performance on representative projects, and pricing and delivery proposal.
• The university reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive proposal irregularities.
• The successful respondent will be required to submit certification of franchise tax status and to obtain from each subcontractor and supplier a certification of franchise tax status.
