Purchase of Motorcycles

The City of Phoenix is seeking to purchase motorcycles for a three-year term, with two option years, to support police operations. The selected motorcycles must be purpose-built for law enforcement use, incorporating integrated safety, communications, and emergency systems. The BMW R 1300 RT-P establishes the minimum requirements for this procurement. The project includes the delivery of fully outfitted police motorcycles, documentation, spare parts, and warranty support. The City requires the procurement of authority-grade motorcycles that meet federal, state, and local safety/emissions regulations. • The motorcycles must be designed for extended use in high-temperature climates. • The electrical systems must support continuous use of emergency equipment without power loss. • The vendor must provide proof of equivalency if proposing an alternative model. • The City reserves the right to disqualify any Offeror who fails to provide information or data requested or who provides materially inaccurate or misleading information or data.
