Description
The Oconaluftee Job Corps Center requires medical services provided by licensed medical professionals. The services include examinations and assessments, treatment, issuance of prescriptions and immunizations, monitoring health conditions, recommending hospitalization, follow-up care, and prevention planning and intervention. The contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The contractor will provide medical services on center, with rare exceptions, on a weekly basis during days and hours established in coordination with center personnel. The contractor must have an active, unrestricted license to practice independently in the state where services will be provided and maintain licensing requirements, certification, and accreditation during the performance period. Key personnel must provide a current contact number to the center and cooperate with background checks and drug testing if necessary.
