Description
The Cecil County Public Schools is seeking sealed bids for the North East Middle/High School Replacement Project, specifically for the fencing work (Prime Bid Package 32C). The project involves the construction of a new school building on land adjacent to the existing high school, which will remain operational during construction. The new building is designed to meet USGBC LEED v4 Building Design and Construction Silver Certification requirements and current building codes, energy codes, and accessibility standards. The contractor must attempt to achieve the specific Prime Bid Package MBE goal established for this project.
• The project requires a 5 percent Bid Bond, Anti-Bribery Affidavit, Certification Regarding Debarment, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and Contractor’s Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305) to accompany all bids.
• A 100 percent Performance and Payment Bond payable to the Owner and certification of appropriate insurance coverage will be required of the successful Bidder.
• The project is subject to prevailing wage rates per 00 45 28 Prevailing Wage Section.
• The contractor or supplier who provides materials, supplies, equipment, and/or services for this construction project must attempt to achieve the specific Prime Bid Package MBE goal established for this project.
