Invitation to Bid: Fox Theatre Walsenburg Abatement Project

The Huerfano County Government is seeking bids from qualified licensed abatement contractors to complete the Fox Theatre Walsenburg Abatement Project. The project consists of removal, remediation, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, and mold-affected materials. The selected bidder must be appropriately licensed in the State of Colorado and meet the standard scope requirements. • The project involves interior and exterior rehabilitation work at the Fox Theatre Walsenburg. • The theatre is a historic building that requires compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards. • The project is funded by grants from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs and the History Colorado State Historical Fund. • The County reserves the right to waive informalities in the responses and to reject any and all responses. • The County will provide timely notifications in writing via Bidnet Direct of the Intent to Award and County Commissioner Approval.
