RFP 2026-05 Community Center Pool Deck Tile Replacement Project

The Town of Surfside is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing mosaic tile system within designated pool deck areas of the Community Center. The project includes removal of existing tile finishes, setting materials, and deteriorated substrate, preparation and leveling of the surface, and installation of a new non-slip, pool-rated mosaic tile system. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required permits and coordinating inspections. • The project requires the removal and replacement of existing tile finishes, setting materials, and deteriorated substrate. • The contractor must prepare and level the surface for the new tile installation. • A new non-slip, pool-rated mosaic tile system will be installed, including all grout, joints, and transitions required for a complete installation. • The contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits and coordinating inspections. • No design or engineering services are anticipated, but the contractor must provide documentation required by the permitting authority.
