Zinc power

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division is seeking a contractor to provide 3,900 pounds of zinc powder for use in energetic deliverables. The zinc powder must meet the chemical and granulation requirements specified in the solicitation. The contractor will be responsible for manufacturing, testing, and delivering the zinc powder. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis. * The zinc powder must meet the chemical requirements specified in Table 1, including a minimum of 97.5% total zinc and 94.0% metallic zinc. * The zinc powder must meet the granulation requirements specified in Table 2, including a minimum of 15% of the total sample weight depositing on a #325 U.S. Sieve. * The contractor must provide a Safety Data Sheet and a Certificate of Compliance with each deliverable lot. * The contractor must maintain a quality system that adheres to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. * The contractor must provide certification data reports and certificates of analysis/test for each deliverable lot.
