Request for Information Regarding Micro Transponder for Army Aviation Platforms

The Army Aviation is seeking information from potential responders regarding their capabilities to design, produce, and deliver a micro transponder for Army aviation platforms. The desired solution must meet specific performance requirements, including operational modes, connectivity, cryptographic compatibility, input power, output power, and physical dimensions. The micro transponder must be suitable for integration into various military and civilian air platforms, with a focus on size, weight, and power consumption. • The micro transponder must operate in Modes 1, 2, 3/A, C, 5L1&2, and S. • It must include a minimum of two Ethernet ports for data interface. • It must be compatible with KIV-77 and KIV-79 crypto appliqués. • It must utilize standard aircraft power (28VAC) and achieve 500W maximum output power. • It must support diversity antennae output and be fully functional in a temperature range of -40°C to 71°C. • It must provide both 1090MHz Extended Squitter ADS-B In and ADS-B Out functionality. • It must have approximate dimensions of 3.4 inches in length, 2.5 inches in width, and 1.0 inch in height, with a total weight not exceeding 200 grams.
